Right from the outset Javed was understanding and willing to help create an ideal science lab design for a primary setting. The design, while jointly put together, featured everything that I wanted and needed. Klick created an innovative ‘pod’ with tray storage on one side and space for stools on the other, making it easy to have one side for theory and another for experimenting. I finally have cupboards that enable me to store all our equipment away. The finished look is clean, sleek and attractive with appealing feminine touches. The girls love coming into the room and using it for science and the layout has made the organisation and delivery so much easier. Klick have produced a well thought out, useful, exciting design for a primary department.

The staff were keen to create an inspirational environment to encourage the girls at the school to develop an interest in science from a young age. The school wanted to encourage collaborative learning and create sufficient storage space to avoid the room becoming cluttered.
In order to create their primary school science laboratory the school decided to convert an existing classroom and the Klick design team worked on a number of options. The layout needed to allow space for group working and also create as much storage as possible. It was also essential for the design of the new lab to appeal to the girls and therefore the colour choices were key. The walls were painted in lilac, with a contrast purple for the main teaching wall. Oval pods were designed with a dedicated space for books to be stored during practical lessons. These feature contrasting purple /lime trays and matching stools. The school took advantage of our pre-summer discount and our installation team worked closely with their site team to ensure eveything was completed during the Easter holidays.
